BSNL now brings SIM cards to your home
BSNL has added a new option on their website to deliver SIM cards right to your door. This service lets you get a new number or move your old number from another company to BSNL. To use this service, you need to fill out a form and verify yourself. The form asks for:
– Your choice of prepaid or post-paid plans – Your pin code – Your name – A different mobile number
After you fill it out, you’ll get a one-time password (OTP) on the other mobile number you gave. Once you enter this OTP, you’re done with the form. If you need help, you can call 1800-180-1503.
By starting this service, BSNL joins other companies like Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone that already bring SIMs to your home. But while these other companies don’t charge for delivery, BSNL’s website doesn’t say if their service is free or not.
Right now, BSNL is the fourth most popular phone company with over 3.4 crore users, as of March 31, 2025, according to the latest PIB study.
